This year 2011, its being said to be the year of demise for the PSP. Why? the PSP had a good half year, good game releases, but mid 2011 marked the date of the possible death of PSP: yep slow game releases, and so the disinterest of playing PSP games has grown. The inclusion of classic cars is a real deal maker, and the program can even support up to 21 cars racing on a track at the same time.

3) Who says that a good racing game has to be realistic? Certainly not the developers of Wipeout Pulse, who took the futuristic hovercraft racing from the Wipeout series and shrunk it down to hand held size. The game survived the transition well, and players will feel thrilled to work through the FX400 Anti-Gravity Racing League in the year 2207. Some of the tracks in this version allow for racers to magnetically lock onto the roadway and run through some huge loops. Instead of racing for trophies, players have to work hard to gain access to various grids as rewards.

4) Ridge Racer 2 takes the arcade racing of its predecessor back onto the PSP, and might be considered right up there with it. However, it unfortunately wasn't offered in every region of the world. That doesn't mean that it can't be appreciated for the great drifting action that the series focuses on. In fact, it probably handles oversteering a shade better than the following PSP game in the series.

5) If you like to rock out to the Ridge Racing series, one play through of the Earache: Extreme Metal Racing will have you head banging. The game carries the name of the British Earache Records label, and features music from bands signed to the game. As might be expected of a game like this one, there are a number of extra modes that are actually more fun than the regular racetracks. The opposition will get crushed in a Death Race, but the Death Match really brings combat to the forefront. This is a free for all that throws racing out of the window and focuses on fighting coupled with competitive action. Of course, for purists there is a three race challenge mode as well as time trials. For those who aren't racing purists, there is the Zombie Massacre mini-game.

6) As with some of the other titles, Asphalt: Urban GT 2 had an interesting release history. It actually had a version developed for mobile phones, but it clearly can't do all of the things that the dynamic PSP version can. The game can be called a spiritual successor of Need For Speed in many ways, and is probably one of the more classic games that fit into the genre on this device. Players should pay special attention to the wanted meter, which really seems to be a throw back to the Grand Theft Auto series.

7) Ford Bold Moves Street Racing is also sometimes identified by the name used for PC and Xbox versions of the game: Ford Street Racing. But that shield is no ordinary shield, abilities like boomerang it faithfully returns to its master after smashing someone’s face from 20 yards. Also withstanding the bullets that are shot at you, a complete indestructible shield. But it is the combat system of the Super Soldier that really pushes the game. Sadly the other features of the game do not stand out much such as weak storyline and low visuals but still Captain America delivers enough to give an enjoyable experience.

Usually it is hard to believe in mythical creatures until you are punched by it in the face and Captain America surely delivers it, making the Red Skull, Captain America’s archenemy, really pissed. So Red Skull has come up with a plan to fight fire with fire by making his own army of chemically enhanced super soldiers in layer or fortress. Seemingly the story looks somewhat good but the flat proceedings of the events and banal delivery of lines and unclean visuals sucks all the enthusiasm from the war.

But the combat system of the game really recolors the game, which bears a lot resemblance to that of Batman: Arkham Asylum. It is all about the timing and agility, before dropping any assault enemies flash, in that by hitting the right button you can evade their attack or perform a counter attack. Crashing the enemies with the fists full of patriotism while also jumping and leaping around the battlefield and launching attacks on foes with speed gives you a intrinsic satisfaction.

Last Fifa 11 made a big impact as the gameplay was significantly tweaked. But as an annual iteration they aim to improve every year, so Fifa has be returned with the title Fifa 12 with not big but little but worthwhile changes.

The rumors we heard regarding precision dribbling, new physics engine and tactical defending were actually not rumors and EA really meant it. These features really pushes game to the next level, making the already strong gameplay even stronger.

The tactical defending really opens a new dynamic into the game and the first thing that the veteran players will feel troublesome is this feature. In the old “pressurize” system of defense player used to merge or gather automatically to put pressure on the opponent but now you really have to engage with the opponent, making it more realistic. Tactical defending is a little complicated stuff, now you require more skill to obtain the possession. Using the features called jockey and cotain and using them properly leads to the obstruction of the other team’s movement, leading to mistakes. As said earlier it is more engaging and you have to work more when you are carrying the ball.

Same goes for tackling; this feature has been tweaked as well. While it was the first thing to do in previous game to get the possession back quickly, tackling in Fifa 12 means the last resort. You have to time this feature now or otherwise face the consequences, try to regain the possession without using tackling or use it in dire situation.

For those who cannot change their gamestyle, they can switch between the tactical defending and pressure system. But once you get along with the new defending system you will not change back because it renders more skills and fluent and realistic approach.

Could PS Vita mean the death of the PSP?

Sony's new PS Vita is slated for release sometime in 2012, but back in 2005 the PSP reigned supreme. That year, stores like Best Buy were selling out of these small gaming investments like there was no tomorrow. There was a mad rush to get one before Christmas that year and several stores had to place the item on back-order or give rain-checks to unlucky customers. This was definitely the most popular portable device amongst teens, children ages 9 and up, and adults alike and for a good reason: this was the most innovative portable gaming device ever to hit the market.

The PSP's predecessor's occurred decades earlier with Sega's Game Gear being released in 1991, and Nintendo's Gameboy in 1989. The Game Gear was innovative in that it featured a back-lit LED color screen and better, crisper graphics than the Nintendo Gameboy. Sega's Game Gear saw a sharp rise in popularity and a steep decline as well, due to Nintendo's competitive release of the Gameboy pocket, a slimmed-down, multi-colored version of the Gameboy.

The PSP blew these previous portable consoles out of the water. It's graphics were super-sharp, it had a built-in joystick, a wide horizontal viewing screen, it played movies and mp3's, it boasted Wi-Fi capability for multi-player gameplay, and it could browse the internet wherever there was Wi-Fi available. This truly was a modern marvel of portable gaming.

Now Sony plans to one-up itself with a newer version of what made their first portable device a hit.

The PS Vita is slated for North American release some time in 2012 but already crowds are eagerly anticipating it's arrival. Street Fighter X Tekken Roster | Release Date

Street Fighter X Tekken (SFXT) is a highly anticipated tag team crossover game from Capcom that features characters from both the Tekken franchise (Namco) and the Street Fighter series (Capcom). The cast includes famous names like Ryu, Chun-Li and Nina Williams in fighting environments that blend 2D and 3D elements. All characters retain their powers, and Tekken characters will be able to evade projectile attacks. In addition to standard game play, Fight Request allows players to go online and challenge all comers.

Game play in SFXT will be familiar to Street Fighter fans who have used that game’s 6-button layout. Tekken players have the option of choosing the 4-button layout of their system. The player can use both the 6 and 4 button layouts without extra configuration. Street Fighter elements like Super Combos and EX Attacks (from Street Fighter IV) are also included.

The game’s tag team element lets players switch characters in and out of fights normally, or in the midst of combos with techniques like “Switch Cancel.” The three-sectioned “Cross Gauge” meter at the bottom of the screen displays how much power the character builds up. The player can use the Cross Gauge to execute certain special moves and power up attacks. The following techniques use the Cross Gauge:

“Super Art” spontaneously releases a character’s Super Art talent, such as Kazuya’s Devil Beam. (Tekken characters retain their Super Arts.) “Cross Art”, perhaps the game’s most destructive technique, lets both characters summon their Super Arts powers against on enemy. Cross Art drains the Cross Gauge, but yields massive devastation.

Button mashers can also get in on the fun. Pressing the heavy attack buttons together will yield “Launcher” moves that send the player’s opponent high into the air while simultaneously tagging in their character’s partner. Combos including ‘juggling' the enemy while airborne can be performed. Players can bypass the Cross Gauge by using the “Super Charge” technique. Hold down a special move button to charge it up to 3 levels, and it’ll automatically become a Super Art. Whoever wins the most rounds wins the match.

As a crossover game, SFXT features characters from the Street Fighter franchise and the Tekken series from Namco. PS Vita Games at Launch

The release of the new PS Vita is well anticipated with fans of the PlayStation brand. Many are wondering what makes the Vita an improvement from the previous PSP. Many will be surprised by the amount of features it comes with. It is said to have Wi Fi, multiplayer chat, multi touch 5 inch OLED, PS3 integration, and dual analog sticks. But in the midst of the launch press conference many are wondering what games will be announced. These are a few of the titles which are said to be announced.

One of these new titles which is said to be released is Uncharted: Golden Abyss. It is the latest title in the Uncharted series, and the events are said to take place before the original game Uncharted: Drakes Fortune. For those not familiar with the plot of the previous games it takes place during present day and provides the player with a big world to explore. The game features the third person shooter style of game play. The developers who are in production of the game say it will stay true to the games previous elements, it will of course have the fantastic vista, and Drakes character model will stay intact. The game is also said to utilize the new OLED screen technology for added experience. And since it is for the PS Vita front and back touch is now available.

Another title which made the release list was a new version of Kill Zone. This game will be the second handheld version of the game which is to be released. For those who do not know the game is set during a war between the ISA and the Helghast. Now the original games were first person shooters, but the last game Liberation was a third person shooter; so it is unsaid what style of gameplay we can look forward to. And unfortunately right now there is little to know about the game. In doing research I have found little to no information on the new game. However it has been confirmed this is one of the new release titles, and it is well anticipated.

The PS3 game Wipeout 2048 is also said to be another release title. The futuristic racing game which we all loved on the console will now be released at the launch, and the game is even said to be compatible with the console. And because it is a vita game it utilizes the front and back touch pads. The back is used for acceleration, and the front is used for firing weapons. All in all it looks like another great title we can look forward to.

One of the original titles which is said to be released is Reality Fighters, in my opinion this is one of the cooler games being released. Now this one will obviously be one of the fighting genre games, however it is not one anyone has experienced before. Unlike games like Street Fighter and Mortal Combat this game uses aspects of reality to ensure your place at the top. The handheld PS Vita is said to utilize its camera and touchscreen to add reality to the game. This is definitely one you want to watch out for.

Another one of the new original titles is Little Deviants, and it is the title which is said to use the rear touch panel to the fullest. This game will show what this new console is capable of. In the game the touch panel can be used to raise the world, which in turn moves your sphere shaped character towards the predetermined goal. The real beauty of this game is it shows how revolutionary the new technology really is. It is one of the first games seen in which the player can actually feel the gameplay. It even is said to give the player a point of reference, so they know where to put their fingers. This new game is filled with mini games and is one you do not want to miss.

A new puzzle game is said to also be released, this is another original title by the name of Smart As. This game is one that console purchasers will want to get. It combines the aspects of a puzzle, with the capabilities of the new console. This is of course a new brain teaser game, but unlike other games in its genre you can compare your score to anyone else's in the world. It is said to include over 20 brain puzzles ranging on subjects like language, logic, arithmetic, and observation.

Persona 4 on the New PS Vita

A preview of the "Persona 4" game for the new upcoming Sony's PS Vita Persona 4-The Golden or P4is the most highly rated game across the world. It is hugely popular because of its role playing nature and is packed to the core with edge-of-the-seat excitement. This video game with a spooky plot was initially developed and published in Japan by Atlus for Sony’s Play Station 2. The P4 is the fifth version in the Shin Megami Tensei: Persona series. In North America the game took roots in December 2008 and since then has taken the gaming world by storm. One of the most interesting things about this edition is the inclusion of a special feature of weather forecast that allows the user to go playing unfazed even on foggy and dull days-an improvement over the previous ones based on lunar system.

The revamped Persona 4video game is due for release on the Sony Play Station Vita in the spring of 2012. It will include an additional female character Mary who will add even more zing. The game will have many more different voiceovers than its predecessor and the intrigue will never seem to end. Famitsu revealed details today on one of the titles currently in development for the PlayStation Vita-- Ragnarok Odyssey, which is being produced by Game Arts.

Ragnarok Odyssey is an action role-playing game that takes place in the same universe as Ragnarok Online, a popular PC MMORPG from 2002. The game play and world will feel similar to fans of RO.

Famitsu lists the game's genre as "Hunting Action," and it will play similar to titles in the Monster Hunter series. Much like Monster Hunter, Ragnarok Odyssey will offer simultaneous team play for up to four players, although it's not known yet whether the multiplayer options are available through Wi-Fi or 3G.

One thing that's for known for sure about Ragnarok Odyssey is that there will be plenty of combat for players to enjoy. Some of the enemies are from the Ragnarok Online world, and players will find orcs, fire beasts, demons and more. Some of the beasts will have epic proportions, like the Hrungnir, and will tower over the heads of characters.

Players will have a vast, powerful arsenal to combat these foes with. Combat will feature high speed attacks that can be executed aerially, and there will be possibilities for team attacks when playing with others.

Ragnarok Odyssey will have six character jobs available:

Sword Warrior - Uses dual swords and specializes in physical attacks.
Assassin - Wielder of dual daggers and master of speed.
Hunter - Ranged attacker that uses bow and arrows.
Mage - Ranged magic-wielder. Carries a staff and has weak physical attacks and defenses.
Hammer Smith - Melee attacker with a massive drill hammer. Has slow but extremely powerful attacks.
Cleric - Classic healer job. Wields a mace and shield, and is also adept at countering attacks.

Ragnarok Odyssey will feature a quest-based progression system that will be familiar to RPG players. After clearing quests, you will be able to obtain rewards and gain access to new quests and areas with more powerful monsters.

The game will be playable next week at the Tokyo Game Show at Sony's booth. No release date is currently known.

Sony is ready to unleash the PS Vita and plenty of launch titles to go with it. The only problem is that they have yet to announce a date. Rumors have been popping up on various websites that North American gamers may get it on or before December 31st. That may not be true, but Sony has stated that they'll start shipping the handheld console in 2011.

What's also true is that the PS Vita won't be released in every territory at the same time. Japan will be the first to get their hands on it, since it's Sony homeland. What's not been made clear is who will get it next. This is probably for the best, but with so many big titles coming out it's difficult to place a pre-order when a gamer doesn't know when the system is coming out in their region. Plus, this isn't a cheap purchase with the wifi-only version costing $249 and the 3G version set at $300.

One thing's for sure: as soon as Sony releases the Vita in Japan, they'll start talking about the release dates for the rest of the world. For now, the best thing to do is to save up at buy it on Day One. However, just like with Duke Nukem Forever, there's going to be a group of gamers who will place a pre-order and wait as long as they need to.

This is actually an alternative for getting the Super Nintendo games on the PSP by way of SNES emulation. Seems like a little bulky to me. The good thing about this device is that your old SNES cartridges will always be useful. About portability? I don't think it is much portable looking at the phisical dimensions of it. Specially how thick it is, and counting also that you will insert the big ole cartridges on it.

Overall is a good try though I think the developers of this device should have worked more on its portability. Anyway, It it does beat the original home console and it is quite good that they included the feature of having the output on TVs. Playing it on the big screen is definitely a plus. Looks actually good!

Half Minute Hero Second definitely gets an upgrade in the graphics department. Although this game is fairly simple in its concept, I am just amazed on the level of popularity it has. Yes, I got to play the very first Half Minute Hero, but to tell you the truth, I was not that impressed and only played it for the first couple of days.

Half Minute Hero Second is still being worked on as I write this, so it has not been released just yet. Half Minute Hero Second is published and developed by Marvelous Entertainment. To my knowledge it is a PSP exclusive game.

Final Fantasy Type-0 for the PSP

Final Fantasy Type-0 is an upcoming game for Sony's PlayStation Portable system. Type-0 is the latest installment of the long running Final Fantasy series. It was previously titled Final Fantasy Agito XIII as it was originally slated to be part of Square-Enix's Fabula Nova Crystallis series that started with Final Fantasy XIII. With this name change, it's currently unknown if Type-0 will have any relationship to Final Fantasy XIII.

The game is said to use gameplay mechanics similar to that of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII as well as make new use of the Active Time Battle system that has been in use in the Final Fantasy series since its beginning. There are twelve playable characters and each character has their own strength and weaknesses in battle.

The plot of the game centers around twelve characters who are students of the Peristerium School of Magic and how they are thrust into the conflicts of the world, mainly in the form of fighting back the forces of Milites and saving the world.

The game's developers have mentioned the game as being like an online game, but not technically multiplayer. Whether this means the game will feature elements where more than one player can affect the outcome of the game or if this reflects the fact that there are twelve playable characters is still unknown, even this close to release.

This game marks will be one of the first PlayStation Portable games to be released on two UMDs. The UMD is the Universal Media Disc and is the typical game storage media used by the PSP. It is scheduled for release in Japan on October 13th, 2011.

First off you need to know that all your portable electronic devices work because of firmware. This is an operating system embedded in your portable device’s memory. If you buy PSP or MP player from a store, the come preloaded with the factory’s firmware. There are free updates online if you go to the factory’s home site.

So why would anyone want to go through the bother of customizing their own firmware of a PSP? A custom firmware allows for the use of home-brew applications on the PSP, charge the PSP battery by using a USB, and back up games you’ve bought on a memory stick. This lessens mechanical wear on the UMD drive which increases load time and battery life.

To set up your custom firm wear you will need to have some knowledge how computers work in order not to cause damage.

1. Download the eboot straight the application.
2. Load eboots stored in ZIP files.

Some PSP Grades have official sites where you can download the firmware for free. The first thing you need to do is find one of theses sites and download the firmware. The next thing you need to do is to extract the EBOOT .PBP file from the PSP-Firmware-390 .RAR and put it somewhere safe and easy to find.

Then choose the PSP grade of your choice and download the application. This is what you’ll use to create the bootable memory stick. Make sure this is the newest version of the application because some of the older application no longer work.

While holding down the L in service mode, this will make the PSP boot from the memory stick. Don’t worry if a black screen with white texts appears, this just means everything is going okay, so far.

Then press X to install 3.90 M33, Press O to install original 3.90, press [] to dump nand, press L+R+start+home to restore nand dump physically. You can press [] to form a backup of the firm ware on the memory stick. After this restart your computer. There may be some blocks when you do this, but it’s not unusual.

Pressing the X and it will write the 3.90M33-3 firmware image . Do not shut of the computer without pressing X because it may cause major problems. You’ll need to check everything to be sure everything went alright. If everything is good to go you are all set. Enjoy the feel of the way your computer now works.

How to Configure Your PSP Network Settings For Web Browsing

To set up a network connection for your PSP, turn on the PSP and make sure the wireless access switch on the left side of the PSP is on. Once booted to the home screen, press left on the directional pad to navigate to the “Settings” section of the XrossMediaBar. If you are using stock firmware, this should be on the far left with a toolbox icon. Press down until the “Network Settings” entry is highlighted. How to install custom firmware on psp slim.

Installing custom firmware can be bit confusing and tricky in first look but here is the complete step by step tutorial of installing custom firmware in PSP 2000 slim. Carefully follow all the instruction.

You will require two files that are PSP Firmware 5.03 and ChickHEN to install custom firmware. Download links
are provided in the step 2 of the tutorial.

# Guide to install custom firmware in PSP 2000 series with motherboard TA-088v1 and TA-088v2

step - 1

Before starting installation backup your SPS memory stick data because if anything goes wrong while installing custom firmware then you may loose important data and settings.

First step is to make sure you gather 2 required thing mentioned below.

- Firmware version 5.03 or below
- 76% charged Battery

step - 2

Now create a folder on desktop and give it a name " FW ".

Download two required file from the link below.

STEP - 3

Now connect PSP slim to computer via USB. And then PSP memory stick (drive) will appear in your computer.
In the PSP memory stick drive, Go to the following path,

/PSP/GAME/UPDATE/

If you don't find this directory or path in PSP memory stick drive then just create that path or directory on SPS.
Now go to the PSP_Firmware_503 folder which is located in FW folder on the desktop. And then copy the file
" EBOOT.PBP " from the PSP_Firmware_503 folder and paste it into the directory or folder i.e." /PSP/GAME/UPDATE/ " that you have just created in SPS memory stick drive.

FW/PSP_Firmware_503/EBOOT.PBP --COPY THIS FILE IN---> /PSP/GAME/UPDATE/

Now disconnect PSP from the computer and go the GAME folder of your PSP. There will be the PSP firmware version 5.03 file, press x button on PSP to execute that firmware 5.03 file. It will install firmware 5.03 on your PSP.

STEP - 3

This step is to load chickHEN R2 on SPS. connect PSP to the computer again.

Copy h.bin file from ChickHENR2 folder located in FW folder on the desktop to the root of your PSP (In your PSP drive).

Now go to the ChickHENR2 folder located in FW on the desktop and you will find a folder name SLIM.
copy the folder ChickHEN from the SLIM folder and paste it in the SPS memory stick drive's directory i.e. /PSP/PHOTO/

FW/ChickHENR2/SLIM/ChickHEN --COPY THIS Folder IN-----> /PSP/PHOTO/

STEP - 4

This step is to set Hellcat’s Recovery Flasher on SPS.
Go to Hellcat’s Recovery Flasher folder located in FW on the desktop. In that folder you will find folder name RECOVERY. Copy RECOVERY folder and paste it in the SPS memory stick drive's directory i.e. /PSP/GAME/

FW/Hellcat’s Recovery Flasher/RECOVERY --COPY THIS Folder IN-----> /PSP/GAME/

STEP - 5

Now disconnect your SPS from the computer. Go to the directory /PSP/PHOTO/ChickHEN/ on your SPS.
Now SPS screen will be blank then it will show massage that ChickHEN has loaded.

Now your SPS will reboot automatically. If it hangup then shutdown PSP and try again. And try until your PSP automatically gets reboot. It can take 5 to 10 tries.

STEP - 6

After ChickHEN has successfully loaded its time to load Hellcat’s Recovery Flasher.

Go to the directory " /PSP/GAME/RECOVERY/ " on your SPS. It will load Recovery Flasher. When it loads, choose " I agree " at the first screen. Now menu will appear with brown screen. Scroll down to Install M33 CFW and press X button. Now system will ask you to reset your settings. Chose the option " reset ".

Now installation of custom firmware will start on SPS. When all gets done, press the X button and turn ON your PSP.

That is it, You have successfully installed the custom firmware on your SPS 2000 slim. Enjoy. To check the result after installation, Go to Settings > System Settings > System Information and you will see 5.00 M33-6
system software installed on your SPS 2000 slim.

Note :- This guide will not work with the TA-088v3 motherboard.

Currently PSP owners have not been able to directly use the PSP's web browser to directly link to Youtube and watch any of the videos available on the site. There are currently ways to watch youtube video on your PSP without hacking the firmware.

Using the web browser on your PSP as well as a wifi connection you can visit a site that will allow you to search for and download youtube videos. In your address bar type in http://www.pspube.com.
The page is a standard black background with orange text. You move the arrow down the page until you get to the option of Click Here to Start Searching. Place the arrow on it and press the x button. This new page will display two search bars one listed as “hot topics” and the one below as “advanced search”. If you are looking for a particular video use the advanced search tab. In early June during the Electronics Entertainment Exposition Sony announced a new Play Station Portable or PSP. They call it the PSP Vita. The PSP family now consists of the PSP 3000, PSPGo and the newest member the PS Vita. It's time to look at all three by comparing their features in order to see which PSP is the one to choose.

We should start with the oldest member of the PSP family, the PSP 3000. Oldest meaning the design and look is virtually the same as when the PSP debuted. Little has changed to the overall design on the new PSP 3000. The PSP 3000's features include a 4.3 inch display. The newest feature just announced is the addition of a built in microphone. This allows the PSP 3000 user to use Skype to make phone calls over wifi. The UMD slot is in the back which allows you to swap out games and movies, saving your sd memory card for your pictures and your music collection. If you have access to wifi you have access to the web. The PSP 3000 allows you to access your favorite websites as well as connecting to Sony's Playstation Store.

The PSP Go removed the UMD slot in order to cut down on the bulk as well as making the PSP more energy efficient. Bluetooth is supported with the PSPGo so you can connect your blue tooth headsets to not only watch movies and listen to music but use Skype as well. The PSP Go comes with a 3.8 inch LCD wide screen display. The screen slides up to reveal the game controls and slides back down when you are not playing any games. Gaming is being enhanced as well with location based gaming allowing you to find other PS Vita gamers virtually. While all these features would be enough all by themselves Sony decided to make the PS Vita just a little bit better. Vita owners no longer have to worry about finding a wifi connection now the PS Vita has 3G connectivity. The internet is always at your fingertips.

While the other PSP's have great features and are certainly worth considering you just cannot over look all the great advantages the PS Vita has over the PSP 3000 and PSP Go. A bigger brighter display with a touch screen as well as front and rear cameras all make the PS Vita an incredible upgrade to the PSP family.

When Can I Get A Playstation Vita?

As we finally have some confirmed information and not just rumors, the buzz has been growing: the Playstation Vita is coming. With a pile of interesting features including front and rear touch sensitivity, a quad core processor, gyroscope, front and rear cameras, and best of all a great price point, it looks like the 3DS has a serious competitor.

So of course now the question is, "When can I get one?". Well, you won't have to wait too long, but exactly how long is still up for debate.

When the first rumors of this new handheld were coming out, word was that it would launch in fall 2011, probably at the end of October. It's unusual for rumors to carry such a specific release date, so this may have held some credibility. However, likely because of delays caused by the Japan earthquake (although Sony has denied this (1), and of course, the usual delays all complicated electronics suffer, this supposed October release date seems out of the question now.

The latest rumor that has surfaced is that the Vita will be launching in the UK on November 4 (2). One could then assume that the US, JP, and other territories will be slightly before, on, or slightly after that date. But don't get too excited about this date.

First, if you check the source, you will see that the date is being pulled from a UK retailer listing. Retailer listings are hardly the most reliable source. Wouldn't it be nice if you could depend on the Gamestop estimated release date that they first put up to allow you to preorder that mega-hyped upcoming game? It would. But you can't. Retailers just want to get as many preorders as possible. If they have to push back their date later, they already have your order, and most people won't bother changing it. This is a normal way of doing business now.

Second, the Vita was just officially announced at E3. This would be the shortest time ever between an announcement and a major hardware release. The 3DS was announced at E3 June 2010, and wasn't released until Feb. 2011. Also, there is a large list of "confirmed" launch titles. Thinking all these could be ready to go by November is a stretch, depending on how long the developers have had their hands on dev kits.

Third, and most telling: At E3, when pressed about a Vita release date, Jack Tretton, SCEA president, said (paraphrasing) "the Vita will launch in at least one territory by the end of the year", and during E3 Kaz Hirai, Executive Deputy President of Sony's Consumer Electronics Division, said only that "the Vita will launch worldwide by the end of this year". It seems very likely that Sony will launch the Vita in Japan (-possibly- North America) only this Christmas, with a worldwide release coming soon after. Simultaneous worldwide releases are very difficult from a supply and marketing standpoint, and Nintendo employed a similar strategy with the 3DS. This possibility is backed up by recent rumors where Jack Tretton interviewed with Gametrailers TV (3), where he said a worldwide release would be "at latest, by March, 2012".

So, it seems the rumor mill is once again building around the Vita, after being someone dispelled by E3. The bottom line is, don't expect one before Christmas, especially if you aren't living in Japan, North America, or Western Europe. But Sony has put together a great little machine with what looks like an amazing launch lineup, so it should be worth the wait.

The next installment in the Invizimals series of Invizimals: Shadow Zone is scheduled to be released later this fall. For any fans of the first game they should be very satisfied.

The story is said to pick up several months after the first installment ended, the major difference between Shadow Zone and the last game are the captures are new and more involved compared to its predecessor. The game also includes over one hundred new Invisimals for you to prey on. With the release of this new game PSP has also includes the possibility of playing co-operative meaning with a friend, through using the infrastructure connectivity. In addition to all these amazing features you are also able to edit your Invizimals by changing the names, colors, and selecting attacks. The game also includes a new kind of system as well where the player is able to travel to locations where the player learns how the Invizimals help shape ancient mythology making this a very sought out game.

Although the game never really made an impression on the United States the game killed and took over Europe. This is probably due to the fact that the game had in fact hit the United States a full year after it hit PAL territories, so naturally the US was never quite interested. However PlayStation has announced that the new game had been dropped in Europe in November and that it would be open to the US next fall.
The game has been described as a "got to catch them all" franchise, due to the fact that the game is very Pokemon like. But in all seriousness that isn’t necessarily a bad thing definitely not for the developers, in the past Pokemon was one of the most popular games around you couldn’t get away from it. Even with its flaws this game is great for people who want to learn Spanish fast.

Spelling Challenges and More is a game that helps players with their spelling abilities. The player will be put into a challenge in a spelling bee.Every time the player wins; they get points that are converted into dollars. The game has a hundred difficulties, and with many challenges for the player to complete. The player will spell and do other types of challenges in this game. The game can be very repetitive and the back ground does not seem attractive. Even with these flaws this game is great if the player wants to work on their spelling.

Buzz Master Quiz is a game where the player will take several quiz and have to answer them. The game is like a trivia game show people would watch on their television. The great thing about buzz master quiz is the presentation that it has. It looks really good and the character avatar looks great. Plus if the player is a fan of trivia shows they would get a big kick out of this game. The pass around mode is also pretty fun and can leave the player entertained for hours. Though the one bad thing about the game is the other multiplayer modes are pretty shallow and not so much fun.

Mind Quiz is a game where the players test their brain. Do you want to know how to transfer game files from your computer to your playstation portable (PSP)? I will let you know the way how to do it here in this tutorial:

This will work for people who own a PSP and have PSP games that have downloaded online and have them on your computer, you may want to copy the games and put them onto your PSP memory stick.

The first thing you will want to do is Connect your PSP to your home computer using a USB cord, this is so you can transfer the data from your computer to your handheld game console. Then you will want to go into your Menu settings and make sure your handheld has a USB connection to your computer.

Once your PSP establishes connection to your computer you can then see that the device is a removable driver on your computer.

You will then want to click the open folder to view files option once your desktop or laptop computer recognizes your PSP handheld. Then double click the game folder that is within the removable drive folder.

Then you want to select the games that you want to put onto your PSP. Then drag them into the Game folder so that they can be copied onto your playstation handheld memory stick. Once you finished dropping the files into your playstation portable the system will recognize the files and copy them onto your memory stick of your handheld.

When getting a PSP system you can do many things with it. You can copy games from your computer onto your PSP and save the games onto your memory stick. This way you can just take the memory stick instead of having all those games inside your bag or pocket.

I did always liked the plain chess game board. I have not played in a while because nobody I know really knows how to play. On a video game seems very challenging it seems. Yea! I am not a very advanced player or could be that the video games of chess on my PSP, like chessmaster is extra hard.

I like this trailer! especially that it might be able to teach people how to play the game. Cohort Chess is a mini game for the following consoles: PSP, and PS3. Might be available for smart cell phones too. Developed by Cohort Studios, and release date was on May 20, 2011.

Published by Konami, Developed by Nude Maker Senritsu No Stratus. Good cinematic entrance. Looks a bit similar to Evangelion... Hopefully this game will make it to North America, and if they do, please hire good people for voice acting. Apparently it is a big deal when translating a game from another language.

I love playing Pirate Legacy on Facebook. Its one of the games I play a lot. There are lots of fun things to do such as missions and you can explore the seas on your own. I think it is mainly a role playing game. The dress-up equipment is really awesome! I like getting new hair styles, eyes, hats and other armor garments.

Pirate Legacy is also challenging, There are monsters that are really hard to defeat. Strategy comes a lot into play. Upgrading your skills is of utmost importance as you level up more and more. Form or Join a UNION of pirates that can help you out in plundering fellow or enemy pirates and take much gold from them. hahaha!

You can have a real good time playing Pirate Legacy on Facebook. It is always good to have many friends as you can send and receive free gifts; Items that should be helpful to you in getting a reputation, experience, and getting strong!
