1. Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier

2. Assassin’s Creed III
Okay, we admit that a late October release is pushing it in terms of the “summer” label, but we can’t help but mention this behemoth of a franchise and the possibilities that arise from setting the Assassin’s Creed world in the 18th century. We can barely hold on to our muskets.
3. Call of Duty: Black Ops II
If you loved the additions made by Black Ops and are bored of the Modern Warfare series, then there’s good news and bad news. The good news is that this game is coming out this year. The bad news? It’s not coming out until November. Not exactly summer, but hey, you deserve to know!

7. New Super Mario Brothers 2
Slated for an August entry, you can’t help but love the Nintendo 3DS expanding its Mario repertoire. We hope Mario keeps going strong, because the franchise keeps forcing Nintendo to innovate while keeping it in touch with what makes games great in the first place.

Finally, they expanded the Mario Tennis world so it’s more akin to Mario Kart. Need we say more?
10. Aliens: Colonial Marines
People love the Aliens movies, and when video games come out that play on the original film franchise, it always makes for a lot of potential – both for gore and for fun.
