Circles PSP Mini, Gameplay

Circles, mini game for the PSP. It is really interesting and I what I like about this game is that it is a thinking game. You have to know how to add and subtract, not based on your instinct for a change. I think I will keep playing more of this game to make my brain tingle a little with some simple math. The sound is actually catchy, I like it much.

There are actually two ways to win; one is to surround the golden zero(s) with the blue, colored, number balls. The other is just to eliminate the yellow number balls with the blue balls. action takes place when you rotate a circle with different color balls. the ones that sums up more, dominates. if you lose too many blue balls, it is game over. There are other rules that apply, but you can find out more when playing the game.

I do recommend circles to anyone. you might like it and who knows you might even find it a little addicting. Try to see how many gold vs silver medals you get.

Echoes, PSP Mini, Gameplay

I can quite see this mini so-so game and consider it fun worth the while. Not the most nor the least interesting when it comes to minis. Speed here is very important and although I tried many, many times to reach the 1st place on the 1st level. I am still short. bah! I give up!!

Some can see this as a challenge and recommend to try getting first place above Alice with the best time of 9:20 seconds. I am definitely liking the sound, modest graphics, and easy controls. For a mini it is ok.

One Million Tons Of Broken Pieces, PSP Game, Japanese Debut Trailer

One Million Tons Of Broken Pieces for the PSP. Not really sure what it IS about just yet, Although I do have an idea: I am guessing you play as sort of termite and bring the giant ship down, of course there will be retaliation from the ship, or something similar. I do like the music very much, and I do think this game is from the same family as Loco Roco and Patapon type of games. We will have to wait until there is more news on this game, and if it will come to the North America.

PSP 2009 Games, Top 12 Outstanding 4th Quarter

Not in any specific order. From top to bottom, left to right:

1. Tekken 6
So far I like what I am seen in Tekken 6, I especially like the long list of characters, the new characters, and the outstanding graphics. I am not so sure if the breaking of the ground was a good idea though. I did not much know about the stories behind some character. The first "King" on the original Tekken died sometime before the 3rd Tournament Of Iron Fist? Wow! And here I thought he has been the same wrestle character ever since the beginning. So the "King" we see now is actually a second version.

The following from Amazon:
In this fighting game, could someone pick the main character? Is it Jin Kazama? or Heihachi Mishima? Well, I had always thought that Kazuya Mishima had been the main guy since the very beginning. I guess I was wrong.

A must-have for Tekken aficionados, TEKKEN 6 sees the return of many familiar faces as well as new characters to create the largest line-up the series has ever seen. With a growing roster of fighters, each equipped with their own deadly techniques, martial art moves, and attack combinations, TEKKEN 6 will be the best “King of Iron Fist Tournament” yet. Adding to the already rich gaming experience, a deeper character customization feature will only enhance the incredible fighting intensity as players go mano-y-mano. Optimized for the PSP system, TEKKEN 6 will not only contain all the explosive action of its home console brethren but also feature additional stages, content, items, and an ad-hoc multiplayer mode. Fighting amongst friends is encouraged as players can battle wirelessly against each other using original or fan favorite characters. Rounding out its list of impressive features is the return of the “Ghost” Infrastructure mode, which allows players to upload their “ghost” character data and download others’ from the Internet onto their PSP system. When players have reached the height of their TEKKEN fighting skills, they will be able to see how they stack up against others through the game’s network support.

2. LittleBigPlanet
Very fun game, I love the adventuring, it just wakes up the kid inside me. I am sure everyone could enjoy LittleBigPlanet on the PSP. I still have a long way to go on the game. I have just started playing, but I can already foretell that it is epic, and no doubt will be one of the instant classic games. I think the difficulty of the game is close to none, but what is more important here is fun factor on gameplay.

I was really entertained combining different types of clothing onto my own delightful little sack person. Walla! you see the one created by me on the video just above. I think he looks very cute, and I specially like the many expressions he is able to do.

I recommend this game very much. It is really a good all-clean, safe for kids game. Although adults may also enjoy it too

3. Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars
GTA: Chinatown Wars is a great game, and if you have been following the GTA series it should be very familiar to you. I have enjoyed playing it for the little time I have spent on it. The story begins with Huang Lee arriving at the airport, then he gets jumped and kidnapped by two unknown characters. Lucky he lives to tell the tale. I love the action here, and you might not necessarily be a good guy here, because you will be involved in refusing, ditching the cops, and sometime take guns and shoot people. I strongly believe that all GTA games are strictly for the more adult, mature audience. It is not for kids, because besides all the violence and such, there is foul language and more adult content.

4. Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines
I think one of the best looking games for the PSP in 2009; Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines has excellent graphics as you can see. I still have yet to play this game, but the one thing that intrigues me the most is the story. Seems very epic and I am quite curious how the plot is.

Here is more on the game from Amazon.com:
Assassin’s Creed: Bloodlines on PSP is the first Assassin’s Creed game on the PSP. It follows the story of Altair right after the events of Assassin’s Creed as Altair tracks down the last Templars who fled the Holy Land and retreated to the Island of Cyprus.

In Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines, you'll take on the role of the daring Altair, striving to execute a mission against the Templars and honing your skills to become a Master Assassin. Run and climb anywhere you please in an expansive, open-world environment as you pursue your deadly aim.

5. Gran Turismo
I love driving games, and Gran Turismo has been know for being one of the best driving simulators ever to hit the gaming industry. Now with the release of the PSP Go, comes the brand new Gran Turismo. Here on this video trailer shows comparison between real driving vs game driving, and can quite see the similarity. I really think that the best feature Gran Turismo will have is the variety of cars available (over 800 cars), and also the multiple tracks on where to race (45 tracks in all). The are some flaws though, there is no online interaction, which is a big minus point. The graphics are looking good, some might say not great, but I will personally see for myself before ranking it. Gran Turismo will be release the same day PSP Go is to be released: October 1st, 2009.

6. Kenka Bancho: Badass Rumble
Kenka Bancho is a great fighting game for the PSP, with new innovative features never seen in other beat'em up games before. You know how when you see fights, even in boxing, there is a real tension seen between the fighters before the actual fight. You can sense the stare-down, like saying I will beat you to a bloody pulp or something similar. Well, that is simulated here. It is really nice feature, although I am not very good at it..lol.

I think you will like this game if you are into fighting, of course. The scenario here is who is king of brawlers between tough guys from different schools. You do not fight alone. You create your own little gang. You as the leader must make it known that you are at the top, and no one can stand against you.

The controls are good and the overall gameplay is fun. In a scale from 1 to 10, Kenka Bancho: Badass Rumble gets a 7 from me. I guess the sometimes saving of the game is not so user friendly. I would have also liked the actual audio for dialog. I think that would have earned more points from me. Nevertheless it is an good game.

7. NARUTO Shippuden: Legends: Akatsuki Rising
Just released a few days ago for the PSP. Based on the popular anime series Naruto Legends Akatsuki Rising for the PSP, and PSP Go. The players have access up to 10 favorited ninjas, including the feared Akatsuki organization.

From Amazon:

NARUTO Shippuden: Legends: Akatsuki Rising will incorporate multiple modes of play including two-player cooperative or versus play via ad-hoc local wireless network. Original Mode lets players experience the Gaara Retrieval Arc as they battle enemies through lush, 3D anime inspired environments. Scenario Mode introduces all-new side-missions to pick up Skill Scrolls which increase your character’s abilities including attack, defense, health and other numerous indicators reflected through all modes. Akatsuki Mode will let players gain control of members of the Akatsuki organization for the first time in a brand-new storyline, discovering the Akatsuki's true intentions while Naruto was searching for Gaara. Finally, find out who the best ninja is with Versus Mode by battling against a friend or the computer in one-on-one fights.

8. Adventures to Go!
So far Adventures To Go for the PSP has been a good RPG for me. Very addicting, and it is quite fun. Explore the many types of planes, monsters, treasures, and overall different adventures without leaving the city limits, and best of all you decide your own adventure by placing an order once per day. Adventures To Go is very unique, and what I also like about the game is you can create your spells too, by the way of combining shards. Shards seem like special magic rocks. You can combine fire shard, and blade shard to create a fire spell. There is a extensive combination as there are shards, but a single shard won't make a spell. As you can tell (see my video above), I am just with two party members (Finn, and Alina), because I have just picked up this game. I am now getting a third party member; One who fights with hammer (Gifford), and has high Health Power (HP) level.

I guess if i had to change something about the game, it would be that sometimes while in battle mode I tend to do mistakes. The controls are not very helpful, and while you can undo moving, you can't undo other actions like attacking a specific grid (setting a monster trap), or defending. If I would be able to undo these two actions, the game would have been better I think. I absolutely love the graphics, but maybe inputting voice sound to some conversations would have been better, not that I do not mind reading dialog, but it is much convenient to have them talk.

I think I will finish Adventures To Go, if it is not too long, and does not get boring later on, I hope. I really do recommend you this game for those into RPGs. Until next time friends

9. Invizimals
Sorry, I do not have a proper review for Invizimals. It can only be played with the addition of PSP Camera accessory. I have heard good feedback, and gameplay seems awesome. Besides that I have seen the demand it has to this point and so including it on my list of top 12 was a must.

10. Avatar
Has nothing to do with the anime. And here I thought it did. Looks good to be a sci-fi though. To be honest I look forward to seeing the movie than playing the game. The game will be available on Sony PSP, Playstation 3, PC, and Xbox 360. Schedule to be out on 4th quarter 2009. So that means; very soon.

11. Pro Evolution Soccer 2010
Well I think if you have played the previous version of PES, there is not much difference from 2009 and 2010. I could be missing more of the detail features of it though. About the graphics: It is really amazing for being in a handheld. Country selection virtually all countries are here included.

12. Astro Boy: The Video Game
Astro Boy The Video Game for the PSP is great, even though is based on a movie. Sure the game is said to be a replica of how Mega man game is, but I think it has its own unique style. The cool thing to see here are the beautiful 3d renders all over the place. I especially like the the shooting part when he is up in the air fighting those machines seen on the video above.

Astro Boy can shoot, can slide, can fly, can punch, but I think his energy level is very low. Just a few hits and he collapses. That might just be because he is still a boy...Well, its a good game to play if want my opinion, and the movie should be good too.

Crimson Room Reverse PSP Gameplay

I am not really sure if Crimson Room Reverse here is part of the PSP mini game family. It would seem to me that it could be. About the game: It is fantastic, really creepy sometimes, and almost reminds me of "resident evil" a little. There are many clues you need to do something. Here the main objective is to find a way out of the room. Counting you do not have the key for the door and you can't open it from the inside. Instead you look around the room for anything that might help you get the door open, so you can exit out of it.

This game could be very well addicting, and kinda scary sometimes with the sound, and human skeletons (seen later in other room). You can sometimes only hear the sound of the buttons being pressed to your PSP, Just like in the video above. lol. I really do recommend Crimson Room Reverse. It is extremely intriguing and very fun.

Bubble Trubble PSP Mini, Gameplay

As part of the PSP mini family comes Bubble Trubble. Funny way to spell it. I must say that popping bubbles either on this game, or actually doing it for real, is a little stress reliever. Not that I consider having stress at all, but I would think so.

Well, I think the game is fun; I might say that it is even a little too childish, but nothing wrong with that either. The music especially makes me say that it could be very well suited for preteens. That might just be the reason why maybe you would not catch me playing it much. And also, personally I like RPG games, and full intriguing strategy games more, and find myself playing those more than any other game genre out there.

Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines PSP

I think one of the best looking games for the PSP in 2009; Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines has excellent graphics as you can see. I still have yet to play this game, but the one thing that intrigues me the most is the story. Seems very epic and I am quite curious how the plot is.

Assassin's Creed Bloodlines is now so popular, it is also available in Bundle Pack Here!

Kenka Bancho: Badass Rumble PSP Gameplay

Kenka Bancho is a great fighting game for the PSP, with new innovative features never seen in other beat'em up games before. You know how when you see fights, even in boxing, there is a real tension seen between the fighters before the actual fight. Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) 2010 PSP Gameplay

Well I think if you have played the previous version of PES, there is not much difference from 2009 and 2010. I could be missing more of the detail features of it though. About the graphics: It is really amazing for being in a handheld. Country selection virtually all countries are here included. I am (on the video above) playing here as USA. vs Mexico.

I used the remote joy lite to make the video and so it might seem that even though the video capture is good, there are some frame skips sometimes. Just note that the gameplay is much smoother on the actual PSP than shown on the video. Overall, Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 is great. I am not a big sport gamer, but do enjoy the game much.

Martial Arts: Capoeira Fight, PSP Gameplay

Amazon vs Voodoo? They both seem like female names doesn't it? Here Amazon is the female fighter. I like the idea behind this game, because I do play lots of fighting games starting from Street Fighter to Tekken series. I am not really sure I do understand the health gouge though.

Anyway Martial Arts: Capoeira Fighters should be interesting I think even when many people I see leaving comments doubt it will be any good. Thinking outside the box, maybe Christie Monteiro and Eddie Gordo should have been invited as special guests or something. lol.

Martial Arts: Capoeira will be for the following consoles PC, PlayStation 2, Sony PSP, Nintendo DS, and Nintendo Wii.

I am a bit confused on the release date because some people say that it is already out, but when I check Amazon dot com. They say it will be available November 30, but you can pre-order now. Huh???

Why PSP?

Why get a PSP? If you are only satisfied with the best gaming technology has to offer to gamers, a PSP will certainly be good in many ways. Mind this is just my opinion here, and yes, I have been a gamer for a long time. The video here above is excellent and self explains the many features the Sony PSP has and the many more to come, and look forward to.

I am glad I am not the only one on the PSP boat. There are people who think that the PSP is the best when it comes to handheld gaming. it seems that Sony is really working hard to improve it further more in the future as you can see on the video. This video was produced by one of my friends at Youtube. Please visit here for more excellent PSP videos. I think I will follow on the news mentioned here. Please stay tuned :D

Game Flashback: Blaster Master (NES Classic) On PSP Gameplay

One of my favorite games when I was younger: Blaster Master for the NES. Now playing it on the PSP with Nester J Emulator brings a whole lot of good memories. I love the tank upgrades whenever you defeat an area boss. I had played many Nintendo games in my teen years. I do not remember most of the titles because they were so many. The only ones that I do remember are the ones that stood up from the crowd. Blaster Master is one of them and a really classic game that I recommend everyone to play even to this day. I only wish game developers would update this game, or make a 2nd. It sure would be nice. Seeing that most games nowadays are just copies of the old, maybe it is not a so far off idea.

Note: One thing that I notice when he is out of the tank and his back is turned reminds me of Hello Kitty figure lol. isn't it weird?

Spot The Differences, PSP Gameplay

I remember playing, going through the newspaper and finding the six differences between two similar drawings. Yea, that was when I was around 7 years old. Now, here the same game concept is back and upgraded for the PSP. Spot The Differences is simple, yet a fun game you can quickly play. Maybe a little challenging in finding all the 5 differences sometimes with the pressure of time. You do have limited time in finding the all 5 differences. It just so happens now that I looked at my video for second time that I missed one. Guess which?

Little Big Planet Level, Intro, PSP Gameplay

Very fun game, I love the adventuring, it just wakes up the kid inside me. I am sure everyone could enjoy LittleBigPlanet on the PSP. I still have a long way to go on the game. I have just started playing, but I can already foretell that it is epic, and no doubt will be one of the instant classic games. Phantasy Star Portable 2. Game Trailer

Loved the Phantasy Star Portable (series) for the PSP. Now here the second edition looks amazing too. I like the intro, gameplay, cut scenes, and beautiful women. That big monster shown here looks tough. I think customizing characters plays a big role.

Phantasy Star Portable 2
is yet to be announced for release. Even in Japan. I will sure be anxious to play the demo version before deciding to buy the full game. I am inclined to believe it will be worth it much like the first one was. :D

Petz Saddle Club, PSP Gameplay

I do not quite know the reason, but I did find myself spending much time playing Petz Saddle Club for the PSP. I like the beginning intro and the great graphics, of course. Some might just say it is a boring game, but not so if you give it a chance.

Well, I have never had horse before, but I do think they are very interesting and beautiful animals. I think the main objective of this game is to give care to horses. Kinda like simulating taking care of real horses. You can do things like washing the horse, brush their fur, cleaning their box, and so on. (Just do not take this game as basis to take care of real horses like the message says at the start of the game).

The more care you give your horse, the better bond you have with it. I think girl gamers would appreciate Petz Saddle Club, more than the guys, but I am a guy, and I would definitely pick this game over some really other guy games that are just senseless for sure...

Adventures To Go PSP Gameplay

So far Adventures To Go for the PSP has been a good RPG for me. Very addicting, and it is quite fun. Explore the many types of planes, monsters, treasures, and overall different adventures without leaving the city limits, and best of all you decide your own adventure by placing an order once per day. Adventures To Go is very unique, and what I also like about the game is you can create your spells too, by the way of combining shards. Shards seem like special magic rocks. I think I will finish Adventures To Go, if it is not too long, and does not get boring later on, I hope. I really do recommend you this game for those into RPGs. Until next time friends :D

Adventures to Go!

The Human Tetris Game Show. Very Funny

I think this Japanese game show is so hilarious. You know some of the shapes are almost impossible to simulate, and the contestants are likely going to fail, but you watch, and see them try anyway. lol.

The controversy is that some claim that this show is a copy of "Hole In The Wall" I really do not now which came first. I am inclined to believe that the Japanese Human Tetris came up first, because the Japanese already have and are known to produce lots of unique funny game shows like this.

Top 10 Guilty Pleasure Video Games

Take note that this is not my personal list, it is from Game Trailer.com. I have not played all the games mentioned in the video. The list is as follows:

10. Karaoke Revolution. Never played it, because has not got my interest.
9. Animal Crossing. Sorry I do not even know on what consoles this game is. Interesting though.
8. State Of Emergency. Bloody, gore, and fun if you consider dismemberment of humans is. I would suggest adults only game.
7. Kingdom Hearts??? Oh really? but it looks so innocent, much like any Disney production ever is.
6. Manhunt. Extreme violence. Seems like it goes much into details on how to kill people.
5. Leisure Suit Larry. I am so guilty for playing this game, but it does have lots of mini games that are fun.
4. Pokemon. Sorry, I kinda never been a fan of pokemon.
3. Grand Theft Auto. Series have come a long way ever since the first. Rockstar games must be doing something right if this game is one popular title. Yes, I am guilty too. Just remember that the violence in it is not real. it is only a game!
2. DOA. Xtreme Beach Volleyball. What I like about this game, is how well and detail the female characters were created. They are definitely so sexy, but hey! I am not a pervert!! lol.
1. World Of Warcraft. I know how popular this game is, but i still have yet to experience it for myself.

Tekken 6 Zafina

It is the first time I see Zafina, but it is said that her first appearance was on Tekken 5 (bloodline rebellion) and now 6. She has that Gothic look, and she is another female assassin added to list of Tekken characters. I think she does look beautiful. Se is tall and elegant with her long legs, and has unique set of fighting moves (twist snake type).

She is either from India or from Egypt I do not quite know yet. I am so exited to find out more about her, hopefully customizing her outfits and kicking butt with her attack combos should be much fun. I was trying to find out her last name, but I think Namco has not come up with one, or maybe... but perhaps they will reveal it later on... Enjoy the trailer :D

Creature Defense, Game Trailer For PSP

I stumbled upon this trailer on Youtube. I had not seen this game anywhere before. I am thinking Creature Defense for the PSP from Hudson is not a big title game. It seems quite fun. I enjoy a good strategy, tactics game once in a while.

Even though it says that it is available now, I tried looking for the UMD version of it. Found none whatsoever, I guess it is only available as a PSN Store download for now. Should it be considered as PSP mini? Is it a PSP exclusive?. There is so much I still do not know about it. lol. I will look more into this game.

Well, it looks good, but still need the gameplay to talk more about it, and give a rating.

Tekken 6 Yoshimitsu

Yoshimitsu is my second favorite from the guys to control in Tekken. Yea, I gotta say that my first choice goes to Marshall Law (The Bruce Lee type chef).

I like Yoshimitsu moves. It is somehow strange to me that even though he fights with weapon he does not have advantage of dealing more damage than some if not all the other characters in Tekken that fight with bare fists. I mean, think about a direct slash from his sword, wouldn't it leave an opponent without some membranes? But, I know it is just a game. I wish I could ever just see Yoshimitsu fight without his sword, then I guess it would be a fair fight between him anyone without weapon.

Marvel Super Hero Squad PSP Gameplay

Marvel Super Hero Squad for the PSP. I think it needs work. It could have been a great game, but did not do much for me. Although there are a lot of things about this game that I liked. The story is great, but could have been more animated. The controls are great. Graphics are amazing, and I really like the intro music (are they the offspring singing? if not, they sound just like them).

I had a little problem with the initial roster. There are no female heroines, what is up with that? And the biggest of my complaints about this game is the camera. Very confusing trying to follow my hero, and most of the times not focusing, and you know it is automatic, meaning you can not control the camera. Sorry guys it made quite dizzy. And so for that reason alone I stopped playing.

Super Hero Squad

Motorstorm Arctic Edge PSP Gameplay

Motorstorm Arctic Edge for the PSP is awesome and great, I love the stage setting. So cold atmosphere, but I guess you will warm up if you can imagine you are inside a vehicle, driving, and feeling the warm engines. This somehow reminded me of a PS3 title I once saw at the local walmart, but I can't remember the name of it. The graphics could not compare, because the PSP is just a hanheld with limitations, and the PS3 is the mother of all gaming consoles.

Anyway, I do recommend this game, if you are a racing fanatic, and even if you are just a little bit into roaring cars, machines, motorcycles, and the such. You will like Motorstorm Arctic Edge for the PSP.

MotorStorm: Arctic Edge
